* Argentina’s national institute of statistics (Indec) has released new figures which show that a total of 228,500 foreign tourists visited the country in May 2019, up 19.6% on the same month in 2018. This brings the total number of foreign tourists for the first five months of May 2019 to 1.3m, up 20.3% on the same period in 2018.
