* Brazil’s central bank (BCB) has released the latest figures of its index for economic activity (IBC-Br), an indication of GDP growth, which grew 0.54% month-on-month in May. This is the first positive monthly advance of the IBC-Br since the start of the year. Economic activity in the rolling quarter to May shrank by 0.99%.
