Paid work is the primary source of income for most people around the world. Labour markets are supposed to match employers with workers, but maintaining a healthy labour market is not easy. Creating enough formal, full-time, stable jobs that fit the skills of the workforce is a constant challenge, and Central American economies face their own particular set of issues.
