COSTA RICA | Finance minister’s resignation provokes uncertainty. Costa Rica’s finance minister, Rocío Aguilar, tendered her resignation on 23 October after the comptroller general’s office recommended that she be temporarily suspended due to improperly authorising public-debt payments last year.
