* According to a Honduran presidential press release, trade between Honduras and Guatemala totalled over US$1.825bn in 2018-2019. The press release highlights the significance of the customs union launched by Honduras and Guatemala in June 2017, which El Salvador announced it was also joining in 2018, in promoting bilateral trade.
