BRAZIL: INSS head resigns amid backlog of benefits claims

On 28 January, Brazil’s pensions & labour secretary Rogério Marinho announced that Renato Vieira had resigned as president of the country’s social security institute, the Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS).
