GUATEMALA: Colom falls back on army after security scandal

President Álvaro Colom has put the army back in charge of the security of the presidential palace, following the discovery of telephone taps in his office and residence and the dismissal of the country's top security officials. He has also turned to the US for assistance in investigating this security breach.
