BOLIVIA: Election date dispute taken to court

For the second time in just over six months, election day in Bolivia has come and gone with no result in sight. The vote, scheduled for 3 May, had been delayed indefinitely in light of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic - but rather than focusing on addressing this health emergency, the central issue in Bolivian politics over the past week has instead been the question of when to reschedule the elections.
