PERU: Will lifting lockdown help economy lift off?

On 30 June President Martín Vizcarra announced the end of the extended national lockdown of 107 days to contain the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Peru now moves into the third of four phases of economic reactivation amid bleak forecasts of a 14% GDP contraction in 2020.
