CHILE: Defeat for Piñera as chamber approves pensions withdrawal
On 15 July, Chile’s chamber of deputies voted in favour of a constitutional amendment which allows Chileans to make a one-time withdrawal of up to 10% from their mandatory pensions fund, to help them weather the economic impacts of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
