Brazil & Southern Cone - July 2020

Introduction

The coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic continues to assail Latin American countries. The Southern Cone sub-region concentrates both some of Latin America’s worst-hit countries – Brazil and Chile – and the two that appear to have best handled the public health emergency and accompanying economic crisis – Uruguay and Paraguay.
