In brief: Argentina’s annual inflation rate continues to drop
* Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released new figures which show the year-on-year inflation rate for July was 42.4%, while the monthly rate was 1.9%. The year-on-year figure compares with 42.8% in June, 43.4% in May, 45.6% in April, 48.4% in March, 50.3% in February and 52.9% in January.
