In brief: Spanish firm announces new investment in Mexico
* Spanish industrial chemical company, Delta Tecnic, has announced that it will open a new factory in Mexico’s Querétaro state, before the end of the year, with an investment of €4.5m (US$5.3m). The company, which specialises in the production and distribution of colour concentrates and raw materials for plastics, cables, inks, paints, and cosmetics, will become the first manufacturer in Mexico to specialise in colour concentrates for automotive cables. With the new 3,000m2 facility, the firm expects to double its turnover in Mexico from €3m to €6m next year.
