President Nayib Bukele launched an intemperate Twitter attack on the magistrates sitting on El Salvador’s constitutional chamber of the supreme court (CSJ) on 12 October. Bukele not only accused the magistrates of being “against the government” but also impugned their integrity, branding them “corrupt sell outs”.
