MEXICO: Municipalities warn of deepening financial crisis, insecurity
On 16 November the Confederación Nacional de Municipios de México (Conamm), the national association of municipal governments, warned that the reduction of funds for municipal and state governments in the recently approved 2021 national budget will exacerbate the financial crisis affecting municipalities and lead to rising levels of insecurity.
