HONDURAS: Counting the costs of pandemic-related corruption

In late October two local anti-corruption organisations presented reports estimating the cost of alleged irregularities relating to public spending by the government led by President Juan Orlando Hernández in response to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. The reports are the latest to signal what has been a widespread concern of civil society groups with regard to the use of public resources [SSR-20-05].
