MEXICO | Remittances and agriculture provide silver lining. Remittances sent by Mexican expatriates to their families living in Mexico increased by 11.4% year-on-year in 2020, to US$40.61bn. This set a new record for remittances, despite the coronavirus pandemic, the central bank (Banxico) revealed last week.
