In brief: Inflation picks up in Honduras

* Honduras’s central bank (BCH) has released its latest inflation figures which show that the monthly inflation rate for September was 0.45%, up from 0.32% registered in August. This brings the year-on-year rate to 4.62%, up from 4.48% registered in August and an increase on the 3.39% registered in September 2020. The September figure is within the BCH’s 4% +/-1 target range for 2021.
