* The state government of Ceará in Brazil has signed memorandums of understanding (MoU) with four companies for the production of green hydrogen at its
new green hydrogen hub in the Pecém port complex.
“We are very happy to receive these new investments in green hydrogen, which is the fuel of the future”, Ceará state governor
Camilo Santana said as he announced the MoUs with Diferencial Energia, Eneva, H2Helium, and Hytron, all Brazilian companies. This adds to MoUs reached with a number of other firms, including Australia’s Enegix Energy and Fortscue, France’s Qair, and Brazil’s Neoenergia and White Martins. Portugal’s EDP announced last month that it expects to start operations at Ceará’s first green hydrogen plant in 2022. Speaking at an international seminar on green hydrogen, Santana said his government is working to make Ceará
“the home of green hydrogen in the world”. End of preview - This article contains approximately 143 words.
