In brief: Enel starts operations on another wind farm in Brazil

* Enel Green Power, the renewable energy subsidiary of multinational power company Enel, has begun operations at its Cumaru wind farm in Brazil, situated in the municipality of São Miguel do Gostoso in the north-eastern state of Rio Grande do Norte. The energy produced at the wind farm, which has a 206 MW capacity, will be entirely supplied to the open market for sale to commercial clients. The Cumaru wind farm is one of several renewable energy projects being executed by Enel in Northeast Brazil; on top of the operational Lagoa dos Ventos wind farm in Piauí, three further wind farms are under construction in the states of Piauí, Bahia, and Pernambuco, and one solar farm is under construction in Piauí.
