* Brazil’s national association of vehicle manufacturers (Anfavea) has released its latest figures for vehicle production and sales in November, which show that the sector continues to struggle despite a slight improvement compared with October. According to Anfavea, 206,000 units were produced in November, which represents a 15.1% increase on production levels in October, but a 13.5% decline compared with November 2020. It is the worst performance for that month since 2015, when demand was affected by an economic recession. Meanwhile, domestic sales fell 23.1% year-on-year to 173,000, the worst November performance in 16 years. Domestic sales were up 6.5% compared with October. Anfavea says that
