COLOMBIA: The rise of Gentil Duarte

The dissident Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc) movement – led by members of the guerrilla group who refused to accept the 2016 peace agreement and continued fighting - has seen some of its key commanders killed, tipping the balance in favour of Miguel Botache Santillana (‘Gentil Duarte’).
