BRAZIL: Itapemirim grounded after six months

Itapemirim Transportes Aéreos (ITA), Brazil’s newest airline, may end up having had a very short and interrupted flight path. The airline began operations on 29 June last year but less than six months later hit financial difficulties and grounded all its flights on 17 December. Despite promises to re-start operations, it looks increasingly likely that ITA will not be coming back.
