*Argentina’s association of automobile manufacturers (Adefa) has released new figures which show that 37,661 cars were produced in Argentina in February, up 101.9% on the previous month and up 72.7% on the same month in 2021. According to the Adefa report, 20,024 cars were exported in February, an increase of 115.4% on the previous month and 33% on February 2021. In the first two months of 2021, 56,312 cars were produced, up 22.1% on the same period in 2021 while 29,322 cars were exported, up 8.7% on the same period in 2021. Adefa points out that the start of the year was marked by the closure of most car producing companies due to the holiday period.
