Chile, where the government of young, leftist President Gabriel Boric took office on 11 March. Despite a convincing victory last year, Boric is fast losing popularity as his administration has got off to a bumpy start, battling with a number of challenges. One of these, as outlined in the first piece, is a tough economic situation, with the post-coronavirus (Covid-19) recovery set to slow down amid soaring inflation.
