In brief: Colombia’s unemployment ticks up in June
* Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has released the latest employment figures, putting the unemployment rate in June at 11.3%. This was down 3.3 percentage points in year-on-year terms, but up 1.2 percentage points in seasonally-adjusted monthly terms. Broken down by gender, the unemployment rate in June was 9.2% for men and 14.1% for women.
