VENEZUELA: Maduro’s claim to Bank of England gold rejected

Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro has suffered a major blow in his efforts to gain control of the Venezuelan gold reserves held in the Bank of England (BoE), after a UK court ruling upheld the British government’s recognition of opposition leader Juan Guaidó as Venezuela’s legitimate president.
