In brief: Oil and gas production falls in Brazil

* Brazil’s Agência Nacional do Petróleo, Gás Natural e Biocombustíveis (ANP), the federal oil and gas regulator, has announced that the production of both oil and natural gas declined in June. Oil production in June averaged at 2.82m barrels per day, down 1.8% compared with May and down 2.6% compared with June 2021. Meanwhile, natural gas production in June was 133m cubic metres per day, up 0.9% on May but down 2.1% year-on-year.
