MEXICO: Gov’t official implicates army officer in Ayotzinapa murders

On 26 August, Mexico’s deputy interior minister for human rights, Alejandro Encinas, stated that an army colonel had ordered the killing of six of the 43 students who were disappeared in the Ayotzinapa massacre.
