* The Central American development bank (BCIE) and the Honduran non-profit organisation Fundación José María Covelo have announced an additional US$5m credit line, on top of a US$2.5m loan authorised in July 2020 by the BCIE for the Fundación José María Covelo, to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). According to the BCIE the funds will help finance initiatives for various sectors such as social housing, production, education, energy efficiency, and sustainable projects aimed at economic reactivation.
