Dialogue breaks down over new constitutional process in Chile

Efforts to reach a swift resolution to the political limbo Chile finds itself in after voters emphatically rejected a new draft constitution in a referendum on 4 September received a setback this week when the opposition withdrew from a dialogue process with parties in the ruling alliance.
