In brief: More bonds placed on Argentina’s domestic market

* Argentina’s economy ministry has placed bonds on the domestic market totalling Ar$181.25bn (US$1.18bn). The bond placement, which included three bonds maturing in November 2022, February 2023, and May 2023, is the first bond placement this month with a further one scheduled for 27 October. It is in line with the Argentine government’s ongoing strategy of drawing upon the domestic market to raise funds to service the country’s public debt.
