VENEZUELA-COLOMBIA: More trade than trouble in border opening?

When the first truck crossed the Simón Bolívar bridge over the Táchira River, which separates Venezuela from Colombia, there was no lack of superlatives to describe the opening of the 2,200km border to vehicle traffic for the first time in seven years.
