In brief: FDI up in Brazil

* Brazil’s central bank (BCB) has announced that foreign direct investment (FDI) totalled US$8.3bn in November, up from US$5.0bn in the same month last year. In the twelve months leading up to November, FDI totalled US$77.1bn (4.09% of GDP), up from US$73.8bn (3.96% of GDP) in October and US$52.7bn (3.20% of GDP) in November 2021.
