Nafta environmental suit thrown out

Nafta's Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) has cleared the Mexican government of having failed to observe its own environmental legislation by refusing to act on complaints against two companies, Ecolimpio de México and Transporte J Guadalupe Jiménez. The charge against the companies in question was that of inadequate management of hazardous waste.
