Tracking trends

GROWTH | Moderate upturn this year. The IMF estimates that, after three years of stagnation, the Mexican economy will growth this year by a modest 3.3%, and will maintain that rate in 2005. It sees the upturn led mainly by an increase in exports fuelled by industrial growth in the US.
