MEXICO: Renewed concerns as new influx of Cuban doctors arrive

On 11 February, Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador received Cuba’s President Miguel Díaz-Canel in Mexico’s Campeche state. The visit served as an opportunity for López Obrador to emphasise the current strength of Mexico-Cuba relations, with the two countries’ close cooperation on public healthcare serving as the focal point.
