* Mexico’s central bank (Banxico) has announced that remittances to Mexico totalled US$5.19bn in March, a 10.7% increase year-on-year. Remittances were also up on the US$4.35bn received in February. In the first three months of 2023, remittances totalled US$13.95bn, an increase on the US$12.52bn recorded in the same period of the previous year.
