COLOMBIA | Inflation. There are signs that inflation might have peaked in Colombia and is very slowly starting to fall. Inflation reached 0.78% in April, taking annualised inflation to 12.82%, the national statistics institute (Dane) reported on 5 May. While inflation for transport (1.28%) and accommodation, water, electricity, and gas (1.15%) was up in April, food inflation, the main driver of inflation in recent months, finally declined (-0.07%).
