MEXICO: Va por México debates 1m signatures rule

On 23 May Marko Cortés, the leader of Mexico's right-wing Partido Acción Nacional (PAN), proposed that candidates should demonstrate the support of at least 1% of voters (about 1m signatures) on the electoral roll to qualify to win the 2024 presidential nomination for the opposition Va por México coalition.
