MEXICO: López Obrador defends armed forces in Ayotzinapa case
On 27 July Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador denied that the defence (Sedena) and navy (Semar) ministries had hindered investigations into the Ayotzinapa case, contradicting claims made by independent investigators.
