* Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released figures on industrial manufacturing and construction in August, which showed that industrial production was down 3.1% in yearly terms and construction down 3.0%. In monthly terms, industrial production was up 0.5% while construction dropped by 1.2%.
