BRAZIL: Paramilitary gangs attack public transport in Rio
On 23 October Cláudio Castro, the governor of Brazil’s south-eastern state of Rio de Janeiro, announced the arrests of 12 suspects in relation to “terrorist acts” earlier that day, in which paramilitary gang members set fire to buses and a train in the state capital.
