VENEZUELA: Criminal investigation opened into opposition primary
On 25 October Venezuela’s attorney general, Tarek William Saab, announced that a criminal investigation had been opened into alleged crimes committed in the opposition primary election held on 22 October which was won by the banned presidential candidate María Corina Machado.
