* Colombia’s natural gas association (Naturgas), an industry lobby group, has released its annual report on natural gas production in the country. It stated that Colombia has estimated natural gas reserves of over 70trn cubic feet, which it said is enough to meet domestic demand for the next 7.2 years, based on 2022 consumption levels. Naturgas said that 49% of Colombia’s proven natural gas reserves are located in the eastern department of Casanare, followed by the northeastern department of La Guajira (20%) and the northern department of Córdoba (9%).
