BOLIVIA: Paz bemoans inheritance
“What lies ahead will not be easy,” Bolivia’s President Rodrigo Paz cautioned this week. Paz claimed that an early evaluation of the state of the country’s cabinet ministries and state institutions confirmed that his government had inherited “a cesspit of extraordinary proportions” from the left-wing Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS) government.
