BRAZIL | Industrial production rises in monthly terms. The national statistics institute (Ibge) reported on 6 March that the national industrial production level in January was up 1.8% compared with the previous month. This contrasts with the monthly decline in December, when industrial production declined by 1.2%. The accumulated annual production in the 12 months through January 2026 was up 0.5% on the preceding 12-month period.
