PARAGUAY: Wasmosy charges US embassy with eavesdropping

The US embassy in Asunción eavesdrops on the presidential residence and the high command of the armed forces, according to former President Juan Carlos Wasmosy (1993-98). He says he discovered this when the US ambassador advised him not to dissolve congress, as some politicians and officers had privately urged him to do.
