MEXICO: Chile takes precedence over Andean rivals

Contrary to what may have been said at the time of the OAS leadership contest, Mexico is not about to embark on an alliance with the two other countries that also opposed the election of Chilean interior minister José Miguel Insulza: Bolivia and Peru. Instead, the Fox administration is going to concentrate on tightening its links with Chile.
