NICARAGUA: Caputo claims breakthrough in resumption of 'dialogue'

Dante Caputo, special envoy of the OAS, appears to have made headway towards the resumption of the three-sided 'dialogue' (between the government, the Liberals and the Sandinistas) broken off in mid-April. The government has proposed a date, not yet disclosed and the Sandinistas have agreed. The next step is to hammer out an agenda. In the background, there is intense jockeying for the selection of an anti-Sandinista candidate.
